Hawks sweep Illinois Springfield, 3-0

Box Score Rockhurst posted a .358 hitting percentage in cruising to a 3-0 victory over Illinois Springfield Sunday in Springfield, Ill. The Hawks outscored the Prairie Stars 75-45 while only committing 11 hitting errors and one ball handling error.

Alyssa Arnold posted 10 kills, nine digs and a .409 hitting percentage. Morgan Rietzke tallied 10 kills and a .333 hitting percentage. Emily Ready totaled 10 kills and five blocks. Preecy Seever added eight kills. Anne Hellwege and Lauren Poulicek combined for 21 digs. Whitney Kostal collected 34 assists.

Rockhurst (23-3, 14-2 GLVC) return home to host Missouri S&T on Friday.
