Box Score Rockhurst finished with a season-low .113 hitting percentage in falling to McKendree, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Thursday in East Peoria, Ill.

The Hawks (26-4) will have to wait until Sunday night to find out where they will be seeded in next week's NCAA Division II Championships.

McKendree won the first two sets, 25-20 and 25-21. Rockhurst won the third set, 25-23, and led 23-19 in the fourth set before McKendree ended the match on a 6-0 run.

Maggie Hummel led the Hawks with 10 kills and a .300 hitting percentage. Morgan Rietzke finished with 10 kills and 10 digs. Preecy Seever and Emily Ready combined for 13 kills and 11 blocks. Anne Hellwege tallied a team-high 19 digs. Whitney Kostal added 36 assists and four blocks.
