Box Score Rockhurst failed to score over the final 85 minutes as the Hawks battled to a 1-1 tie in double overtime at Southern Indiana Sunday in Evansville, Ind.

Sophomore forward Michael Panarisi gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead in the 25th minute on a header from 15 yards out. Paul Dean set up the goal with a cross from the right side. The Screaming Eagles tied the score with a goal in the 58th minute.

Southern Indiana outshot the Hawks, 17-10. Kaleb Jackson led the Hawks with two shots. Senior goalkeeper Stefano Radio finished with six saves, including two in the second overtime period.

Rockhurst (6-4-1, 6-3-1 GLVC) return home to host McKendree on Friday.
