Box Score Hillsdale College survived two match points by Rockhurst to edge the 25th-ranked Hawks on Saturday in the TownePlace Suites Classic in Findlay, Ohio.

The Hawks on the first set, 25-23, and the fourth set, 25-19. Hillsdale won the second and third sets by 25-14 and 25-19 scores, and then rallied to win the fifth set, 17-15.

Morgan Rietzke led the Hawks with 18 kills and nine digs. Katie Loescher added 11 kills. Alyssa Arnold posted eight kills and a team-high 19 digs. Victoria Mahl posted 17 digs. Whitney Kostal totaled 40 assists and 14 digs. Lauren Poulicek added 14 digs.

Arnold was named to the All-Tournament team. She averaged 2.47 kills and 3.17 digs in the Hawks' four matches in the Findlay event. The Hawks host Southern Indiana in their conference meet on Saturday, Sept .21 at 5 p.m.
