Box Score Mark Magee scored two goals to lead third-seeded Rockhurst to a 2-0 victory over fifth-seeded Lewis in the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Midwest Region finals Friday night at RU's Bourke Field.

Rockhurst, 16-3-3, will host Central Region champion Lindenwood in an NCAA quarterfinal game on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Lewis ends the season with a 13-3-5 record. Lindenwood defeated Fort Hays State, 1-0, earlier Friday at Rockhurst.

Magee scored his first goal at the 80:38 mark on a rebound shot off the Lewis keeper. Magee scored his second goal —his 15th goal of the season — on a shot from 15 yards out at the 84:09 mark.

Rockhurst outshot Lewis 15-6. Magee posted six shots to lead all players. Rockhurst keeper Ryan Bass collected four saves.
