Hawks post 3-0 win at William Jewell

Box Score Kelsey Stratman posted 10 kills and five blocks to power Rockhurst to a 3-0 victory over William Jewell Tuesday night in Liberty, Mo. The sophomore middle hitter finished with a .714 hitting percentage with zero hitting errors.

The Hawks won the first set 25-15, breezed to a 25-10 win in the second set and rallied for a 25-20 win in the third set.

Katie Loescher tied Stratman with a team-high 10 kills. Morgan Rietzke, Alyssa Arnold and Maggie Hummel collected seven kills apiece. Victoria Mahl led the team with 19 digs. Lauren Poulicek had 14 digs and Rietzke added 11 digs. Whitney Kostal totaled 36 assists.

The Hawks, 12-3 and 6-1 in the GLVC, return home to host 17th-ranked Truman State at 7 p.m. Friday.
