Cory Frederick

Cory Frederick holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln (1998) and earned a Cytotechnology Certification from the Mayo Clinic (1999). A highly accomplished volleyball coach, Frederick has coached at multiple collegiate programs, including Missouri Western State University (Assistant Women's Coach, 2001–2003; Head Women's Coach, 2009–2013; Assistant Women's Coach, 2021), Park University (Head Men's Coach, 2003–2009), and currently serves as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for Rockhurst University Men's Volleyball (2025).

During his tenure at Park, Frederick compiled an outstanding 105-16 record as head men’s coach, capturing the 2008 NAIA National Championship and finishing as the 2007 NAIA National Runner-Up. He was honored as NAIA National Coach of the Year in both 2007 and 2008 and earned MAMVIC Conference Coach of the Year honors in back-to-back seasons while leading the team to consecutive conference championships.

After stepping away from collegiate coaching in 2013 to focus on family, Frederick remained active in athlete development, working with youth volleyball clubs in the Kansas City area and teaching martial arts for several years. In 2021, he briefly returned to Missouri Western to assist former colleague Coach Carbin for a single season.
