Nick Ford is in his first year as a graduate assistant coach for the Hawks.
Ford was an assistant coach at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois in 2016-17. Trinity International won the Chicagoland Conference regular season championship and advanced to NAIA National Tournament and make the national quarterfinals in 2016.
In 2015-16, Ford was an assistant coach at Niles North High School in Illinois where they won 20 games.

Ford played four years under head coach Drew Diener at Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a senior with the Wolves in 2012-13, he was the starting point guard for Stritch during their NAIA national championship run. A three-year team captain, Ford earned the Mr. Hustle Award at the NAIA Tournament.
