Avery Huffman pitched a four-hit shutout to lead Rockhurst to a 3-0 win over Lincoln in Game One of a doubleheader in Jefferson City, Missouri. Taylor Sedam, Emily Berry and McKenna Lester combined for eight hits and four RBI to lead the Hawks to a 7-3 win in Game Two.
The Hawks (30-18) clinched their first 30-win season since 2017.
Game 1: RU 3, LU 0
RU scored once in the fifth and twice in the sixth.
- Emily Berry and Claire Tipton each recorded an RBI.
- Eva Fulk and Kaylee Pugh both picked up a stolen base.
- Avery Huffman (16-8) finished with seven strikeouts and her 20th complete game of the season, tying for the second-most complete games in a single season in program history.
Game 2: RU 7, LU 3
The Hawks scored twice in the second and third. RU also scored three runs in the fourth.
- Sedam and Berry each scored two runs.
- Riley Braden (5-5) allowed two earned runs in 6.2 innings and struck out four batters.
