Hawks tie for second place at Ken Partridge Invite

The Rockhurst men's golf team tied for second place at the Ken Partridge Invitational Tuesday at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana.

The Hawks shot a 290 in the final round after opening with a 300 and 292 in the first two rounds to finish with a 54-hole score of 882.

Kingston Solomon tied for third place to lead Rockhurst. Solomon shot a three-under-par 69 in the final round to finish with a 216 score for 54 holes. He shot a 72 and 75 in the first two rounds.

Solomon led all golfers with 27 birdies. He made eight birdies in the third round after collecting nine birdies in the first two rounds.

Mike Wolski tied for 20th place at 223 and Adam Challoner tied for 26th at 224. Lander Guibert tied for 49th at 228, Ashton Vinton tied for 54th at 229 and Bryce Renz tied for 63rd at 231.
