The Rockhurst women's track and field team finished in ninth place at the GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championships Sunday in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Maia Maury and Carrington Hessen combined to score 20.25 of the Hawks' 22 team points.

Maury scored 11.25 points with a third-place finish in the pentathlon, a fourth place in the high jump and ran the anchor leg on the 4x400 relay. Maury placed first in the pentathlon 800 and tied for first in the pentathlon high jump. Hessen came in third in the 3,000 and sixth in the 5,000 to account for nine points.

Ar'Janay Landers was selected as Rockhurst's GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship individual award honoree.
