Hawks drop pair of games in Topeka

Rockhurst Softball fell to Emporia State and Central Oklahoma on Sunday at the Washburn Invitational in Topeka, Kansas.

Game Two: Emporia State 2, Rockhurst, 1
Eva Fulk recorded an RBI single to give Rockhurst a 1-0 lead in the third inning. The Hornets scored once in the bottom of the sixth and in the bottom of the seventh.
  • Fulk collected a total of two hits.
  • McKenna Lester was 2-for-2 with a walk and a double.
  • Claire Long went 1-for-3.
  • Avery Huffman pitched a complete game, allowing an earned run on six hits with seven strikeouts on 114 pitches.
