Alyssa McDonald combined for 24 kills, as Rockhurst defeated Illinois Springfield 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-18) on Friday inside Mason-Halpin Field House. Rockhurst hit .409 with 49 kills and limited the Prairie Stars to a .156 hitting percentage.
RU's win on Friday extended their winning streak to nine-straight and is the longest active winning streak in the conference.
Hope recorded 12 kills, a .625 hitting percentage, two blocks and 13 points. McDonald also tallied 12 kills, a .375 hitting percentage, one block and 12.5 points.
Molly Trachta notched 22 assists, nine digs, two service aces and two kills.
Ali Olson had seven kills, one block and hit .875.
Chloe Tyrrell ended with eight kills, eight digs and an assist.
As a team, Rockhurst finished with five service aces, three blocks, 44 assists and 39 digs.
