Third-quarter run leads Tritons past Hawks

Missouri-St. Louis went on an 18-0 run to rally for a 58-43 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks jumped out to a 30-22 lead on a three-point basket by Macie Conway with 2:24 left in the first half.
UMSL scored the last six points of the first half to cut Rockhurst's lead to 30-28 at halftime. The Tritons opened the second half on a 10-0 run to take a 40-30 lead with 3:22 left in the third quarter.

Conway led the Hawks with 11 points on four-of-10 shooting. Ella Campbell scored eight points with two 3-point field goals.

Alivia McCulla posted a career-high 12 rebounds, in addition to blocking four shots and scoring six points.
