Women open road trip at Quincy on Thursday

The Rockhurst women open a two-game road trip at Quincy on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Hawks face Truman State in Kirksville, Missouri at 1 p.m.

The Hawks (6-11, 2-9 GLVC) are coming off a 73-60 loss at home to Upper Iowa last Saturday. Senior guard Macie Conway connected on a free throw in the final minute to score her 1,000th career point at Rockhurst.

Quincy (9-8, 6-4 GLVC) has won five of its last six games. Junior guard Katey Flynn ranks ninth in scoring (13.9 pg) in the GLVC. Quincy leads the all-time series, 25-9, since 1998.

Truman State (10-8, 7-3 GLVC) is coming off two road wins at Quincy and Upper Iowa. The Bulldogs are led by junior guard Emajin McCallop, who is averaging 14.4 points per game. Truman posted an 81-58 win at Rockhurst earlier this season and lead the all-time series, 23-10.
