Rockhurst travels to UIS, Indianapolis

The Rockhurst women's basketball team face road tests this weekend at Illinois Springfield and Indianapolis. The Hawks play at UIS on Thursday night at 5:30 and conclude their trip at UIndy on Saturday at noon Central Time.

The Hawks (6-7, 2-5 GLVC) are coming off a 72-50 loss at home to Maryville last Saturday. Junior forward Tori Miller ranks 11th in scoring (13.8) in the GLVC. Junior forward Alivia McCulla is ninth in rebounding (6.2 pg) in the GLVC.

Springfield (5-10, 2-5 GLVC) has lost four of its last five games. Junior guard Kayla Rice ranks second in scoring (16.0 pg) and second in steals (2.7 pg) in the GLVC.

The Hawks posted two wins over the Prairie Stars last season and lead the all-time series, 15-10.

UIndy (1-14, 0-7 GLVC) took a four-game losing streak into a Thursday meeting with William Jewell. Senior guard Patricia Chikamba leads the Greyhounds in scoring (15.9 pg) and rebounding (5.9 pg).

The Greyhounds won by three points in Kansas City last year and lead the all-time series, 14-7.
