Six Hawks earn Academic All-District Men's At-Large honors

Six Rockhurst student-athletes earned a spot on the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's At-Large Team.

David Schilp of the Men's Golf team received his third career CSC Academic All-District honor. Avery Moody and Brock Ollila of the Men's Lacrosse team garnered their second CSC All-District award.

Adam Husaby (Men's Lacrosse), Nathan Jacques (Men's Volleyball) and Lars Yarkosky (Men's Lacrosse) received their first career CSC Academic All-District honors.

Schilp, a senior from St. Louis, led the Hawks with a 74.0 stroke average over 30 rounds. He posted seven top 20 finishes.

Moody, a junior short stick midfielder from Springfield, Missouri, led the Hawks with 56 ground balls. He also posted 16 caused turnovers and scored five points. He was named to the All-GLVC Second Team.

Ollila, a junior goalkeeper from Hugo, Minnesota, received USILA All-American (honorable mention) and All-South Region honors. He was voted the GLVC Goalkeeper of the Year as a All-GLVC First Team honoree. The three-time GLVC Defensive Player of the Week finished the season with 187 saves and an 11.03 goals against average.

Husaby, a sophomore midfielder from Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, tallied 17 goals, four assists and seven ground balls. He received All-GLVC honorable mention accolades

Jacques, a sophomore setter from Casselberry, Florida, led the first-year men's volleyball team with 7.49 assists per set. He also averaged 1.70 digs and 0.77 kills per set.

Yarkosky, a junior midfielder from Overland Park, Kansas, was named to the All-GLVC Second Team. He scored 20 points on 11 goals and nine assists, along with posting 17 ground balls.
