Three Hawks receive USILA All-American nods

The Rockhurst men's lacrosse team earned a school-record three 2025 All-American selections from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

Matthew Kallberg, Jonah McConnell and Brock Ollila received All-American honorable mention nods from the USILA. Kallberg, McConnell, Ollila and Avery Moody were chosen to the USILA All-Region South team on Monday.
 
Kallberg, a senior defender, ranked second in the GLVC with 35 caused turnovers. He also collected 30 ground balls and scored an unbelievable goal on a 60-yard shot in a 10-9 win over Indianapolis on March 22.

McConnell led the GLVC with 46 goals and 63 points as a sophomore. The GLVC Offensive Player of the Year also posted a team-high 142 shots and 90 shots on goal.

Ollila was voted the top goalie in the GLVC by the league coaches in his junior year. He finished the season with 187 saves and a. 565 save percentage.

Moody, a junior short stick midfielder, paced the Hawks with 56 ground balls. He also collected 16 caused turnovers, three goals and two assists.

The Hawks posted an 8-6 overall record and were co-regular season GLVC champions for the second time in the last four years.
