Hawks face rematch with Lewis in GLVC semifinals

Rockhurst returns to the GLVC Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament for the sixth consecutive year. The second-seeded Hawks (8-5) will face third-seeded Lewis (11-4) in the semifinals at 3 p.m. Thursday at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Hawks posted an 8-7 win over 11th-ranked Lewis at home last Saturday to tie Maryville for first place in the GLVC standings. Maryville earned the top seed over Rockhurst by virtue of the Saints' 17-8 win over the Hawks on April 19.

Maryville (10-4) will play fourth-seeded Indianapolis (7-7) in the first semifinal game at noon Thursday. The Championship match will take place on Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased on site at $10 for adults and $5 for students (with ID) and seniors.
