The Rockhurst men's lacrosse team posted an 8-7 victory over 11th-ranked Lewis Saturday at Bourke Field to share the GLVC regular season championship with Maryville.

Rockhurst scored goals from Adam Husaby and Lars Yarkosky less than a minute apart midway in the fourth quarter to take an 8-6 lead. Lewis scored with 2:07 left, but could not get off another shot in the final two minutes.

Jonah McConnell led the Hawks with two goals, one assist and 13 shots.
Husaby scored two goals on six shots.
Carson Bradshaw collected 12 faceoff wins and seven ground balls.
Yarkosky, Charlie Shaver and Linus Toward each scored two points on one goal and one assist.
Brock Ollila posted 15 saves and three ground balls.

The Hawks (8-5, 4-1 GLVC) are the second seed in the GLVC Tournament and will face third-seeded Lewis on Thursday, May 1 at Maryville University in St. Louis.
