The fourth-seeded Rockhurst Men's Volleyball fell to top-seeded Lincoln Memorial in three sets (25-23, 25-23 and 25-20) in the IVA Tournament Semifinals on Saturday morning in St. Louis, Missouri.
Rockhurst finishes their inaugural season with a 19-11 record, which was the highest win total this season for a first-year men's volleyball Division II program.
Lucas Tran led the Hawks with 12 kills.
Shay Spadaro had 11 kills, a service ace, a block and 10 digs.Â
Aron DeRoy recorded nine kills and a team-leading two service aces.
Daniel Mekonen tallied three blocks to lead Rockhurst, as
Nathan Jacques had 27 assists and two blocks.
Beau Cecil collected a team-leading 10 digs.
Jackson Daugherty and
Tyler Zippay each recorded four assists.
As a team, the Hawks 38 kills, three service aces, four blocks, 36 assists and 44 digs.
