Rockhurst posts 6-1 win over Lewis

The 42nd-ranked Rockhurst men's tennis team posted a 6-1 victory over Lewis on Friday at the Plaza Tennis Center.

Semyon Tsyrenov won his No. 1 singles match in two sets. The 14th-ranked Tsyrenov defeated Indrek Soome, 6-3 and 7-6 (7-2).

Louis Keiner, Diego Schtulmann and Iago Alcover won in two sets in singles. Alex Tikhonov rallied to win No. 3 singles in three sets.

The Hawks (7-5) swept all three doubles matches. Keiner and Tikhonov won No. 1 doubles, 6-3. Tsyrenov and Alcover were 6-2 winners in No. 2 doubles. Arnav Gannavaram and Schtulmann captured No. 3 doubles, 6-1.

On Wednesday, the Hawks fell to Southern Arkansas, 4-0. Keiner and Tikhonov were 6-4 winners in No. 1 doubles.
