Hawks finish second at SMSU Challenge

Sarah Biscan tied for sixth with a 159 score

The Rockhurst women's golf team finished in second place at the SMSU Challenge Friday at the par-70 Wigwam Resort Blue Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The Hawks shot a 325 on the second day to finish with a 36-hole score of 638, two shots ahead of Montana State-Billings. Saint Martin's won the team title with a 635 total.

Sarah Biscan tied for sixth place with a 36-hole score of 159 to lead the Hawks. Biscan shot a 77 in the second round after opening with an 82 in the first round on Thursday.

Grace Claney tied for ninth place at 160 and Jayden Berrey tied for 11th at 161. Caroline Giocondo and Celia Stiltner tied for 13th and 16th, respectively, at 163 and 165.
