Balanced attack leads Hawks to 78-50 victory

A 32-point second quarter carried the Rockhurst women to a 78-50 victory over Lincoln Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Hawks shot 63.2 percent from the field in the second quarter to take a 40-16 lead into halftime. Rockhurst scored 38 points in the second half on 41.7 percent shooting.

The Conway sisters, Macie and Sadie, each scored 10 points to lead the Hawks. Rebeca Garcia posted nine points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots.

Keegan Sulivan collected six points, five rebounds and five assists. Clare Diener added eight points.

Reserves Victoria Swingle and Brooke Ellis both had career-high scoring nights. Swingle scored nine points on three-of-four shooting. Brooke Ellis tallied eight points on three-of-seven shooting.
