Rockhurst returns to the NCAA Division II Volleyball Championships for the 18th time since 1998. The seventh-seeded Hawks (21-10) face second-seeded Ohio Dominican Panthers (26-5) in an NCAA Division II Midwest Regional first-round match Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mark Twain Building in St. Louis, Missouri.

The winner of the Midwest Regional will advance to the DII National Quarterfinals on Dec. 11 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.

RU vs. OHIO DOMINICAN: Thursday's contest will be the first matchup between Rockhurst and Ohio Dominican. Rockhurst is coming off their second-straight appearance in the GLVC Tournament Semifinals and their third in the last four seasons. Ohio Dominican won their first-ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament Championship.

NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY: The Hawks have a 23-17 record in 17 previous appearances in the NCAA Tournament and are returning to the NCAA Championships for the 11th consecutive time. Rockhurst has reached three Final Fours in 2015, 2017 and 2019. The Hawks also reached the regional finals in 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2014 and 2018,

2025 RU ROSTER: Rockhurst's 2025 NCAA roster includes five seniors, six juniors, five sophomores and three freshmen representing six different states. Fifteen members of the team are from Kansas (8), Missouri (5) and Nebraska (2).

TEAM LEADERS: Sarah Pyle leads the team with 443 kills and has collected 1248 career kills. Delaney Hope is the team leader in blocks with 122 and has 143 career blocks. Katie Vargo has a team-high 425 digs. Molly Trachta tops the team with 701 assists and has posted 1727 career assists.

GLVC STAT LEADERS: Delaney Hope is the conference leader in hitting percentage (.403) and is sixth in blocks (1.04/set). Sarah Pyle stands fourth in kills (3.79/set) and points (4.38/set). Ali Olson is fourth in hitting percentage (.346). Molly Trachta is eighth in assists (5.99/set).

GLVC ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM: Delaney Hope earned GLVC All-Tournament Team Honors during the 2025 GLVC Tournament.

ALL-REGION HONORS: Sarah Pyle and Delaney Hope earned AVCA All-Region honors and D2CCA All-Region honors for the first time in their careers, the AVCA announced on Wednesday. Pyle received AVCA All-Region and D2CCA All-Region First Team honors while Hope received D2CCA All-Region First Team honors and AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention.

ALL-GLVC HONORS: Three Rockhurst players received All-Conference honors from the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Senior outside hitter Sarah Pyle and sophomore middle hitter Delaney Hope earned All-GLVC First Team honors. Junior setter Molly Trachta garnered Second Team accolades.

HEAD COACH: Trent Jones has guided the Hawks to a 116-53 record in his first six seasons at Rockhurst. Jones previously spent nine seasons as the associate head coach at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Jones also was the head coach at the University of Missouri-St. Louis from 2008-10. The Tritons posted a 64-28 overall record and a 35-10 conference mark under Jones.
