Rockhurst junior defender Mattia Petricca has been selected as the Great Lakes Valley Conference/Athletic Solutions Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer, it was announced by the league office Monday.

• Marshalled a backline that kept Lincoln scoreless for the first time this season
• Earns first career Defensive Player of the Week Award
