11/11/2025 2:30:00 PM

Senior forward Anna Lantz headlines four Rockhurst players on the 2025 GLVC Women's Soccer postseason awards list.

The GLVC named Lantz Offensive Player of the Year for the second year in a row. She was also named to the All-GLVC First Team this season, earning First Team honors all four years of her career.

Lantz joins Becky Fleming (Rudroff) as the second ever two-time Offensive Player of the Year. She becomes Rockhurst's fifth Offensive Player of the Year and 10th overall major award winner.

Lantz was the overall GLVC leader in goals (17), goals per game (.944), points (39) and points per game (2.17). Her 17 goals ranked tied for second in the NCAA.

On Senior Day against Lincoln on Nov. 2, Lantz broke the Rockhurst record for goals in a career (50) and in a single season (17). She earned her seventh career GLVC Offensive Player of the Week selection and her second of the season on Nov. 3.

Junior midfielder Caitlyn Smith was named to the All-GLVC First Team. Smith started all 18 matches and was second on the team in goals (eight) and points (18). She also collected two assists. Smith ranked tied for eighth in GLVC play in goals scored, and ninth in shots on goal (24) and points.

Sophomore defender Kaitlyn Hobart and freshman forward Lexi Matzke were each named to the All-GLVC Second Team. Hobart helped Rockhurst post six shutouts in 2025, tallying two assists while playing 1,550 minutes (second on the team).

Matzke played in all 18 matches (14 starts). She finished third on the team with 11 points, including two goals (tied for fourth on the team) and seven assists (led the team).

The 15 GLVC James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award honorees are listed below, which are student-athletes who have distinguished themselves through sportsmanship and ethical behavior. These individuals must also be in good academic standing and have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports-competition setting. The honorees are now eligible to become one of their school's two Spalding Sportsmanship Award winners, which will be announced at the end of the academic year. Rockhurst's honoree was Alex Zoellner.
