Hawks rally for 1-1 deadlock at Lewis

The Rockhurst women's soccer team battled Lewis to a 1-1 tie Friday night in Romeoville, Illinois.

The Flyers opened the scoring with a goal in the 10th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Hawks' Caitlyn Smith's fourth goal of the year tied the game in the 50th minute.

Smith led the Hawks with four shots (two shot on goal). Anna Lantz recorded two shots (one on goal).

The Hawks took 11 shots (five on goal). RU keeper Ally Moore tallied five saves.

Rockhurst (3-3-3, 2-2-2 GLVC) travels to Fayette, Iowa to face Upper Iowa on Sunday at noon.
