Late goal gives Drury 1-0 win over Hawks

A late goal in the 83rd minute gave Drury a 1-0 win over Rockhurst on Sunday afternoon in Springfield, Missouri.

Elena Perez knocked in a rebound shot from six yards out to break the 0-0 score.

Anna Lantz, Julia Witt and Avery Lewis took two shots each. Lantz also had a shot hit the crossbar in the 68th minute.

Lexi Matzke and Lewis posted shots on goal in the first half. Witt and Maya Wallace recorded shots on goal in the second half. Ally Moore tallied four saves.

The Hawks and Drury both collected 12 shots.

Rockhurst (7-6-3, 6-5-2 GLVC) finishes the regular season with two home matches next weekend, beginning with Missouri S&T on Friday at 5 p.m.
