Men take five-game winning streak on the road

The first-place Rockhurst Hawks make their final trip of the regular season this weekend. On Friday, the Hawks play at Southwest Baptist at 1:30 p.m. Drury hosts Rockhurst on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Rockhurst (9-2-2, 8-0-2 GLVC) has won its last five games and seven of its last eight. The Hawks have scored 17 goals and held their opponents to six goals in their last eight games.

Sophomore forward Immanuel Wayoro leads the Hawks with seven goals and 16 points. He ranks second in goals and fourth in points in the GLVC.

Southwest Baptist (6-7-2, 3-6-2 GLVC) collected a 3-1 win at William Jewell last Sunday. The Bearcats have scored 24 goals in 15 games.

Rockhurst holds an 8-0-1 lead in the all-time series. The Hawks posted a 4-0 win over Baptist last year at Bourke Field.

Drury (4-4-5, 4-4-3 GLVC) defeated Truman State, 2-0, on the road last Sunday. The Panthers have scored 19 goals in 13 games.

Rockhurst leads the all-time series, 20-7-3. Drury posted a 3-2 win over the Hawks last year at Bourke Field.
