Lantz scores all three goals in win over Truman

Anna Lantz scored three goals in route to a 3-0 Rockhurt victory over Truman State Sunday afternoon at Bourke Field.

Lantz recorded her first goal in the 30th minute with an assist from Karsen Koehler. The other two came in the second half. Lantz scored in the 47th minute with assists by Lexi Matzke and Jacie Tottleben. She added her third goal in the 86th minute with an assist by Kaitlyn Hobart.

This was Lantz's first three-goal effort of the season and the third of her career. She last scored three or more goals last year at Lincoln when she scored four.

Lantz led the Hawks with five shots (four on goal). Lizzo Rosenthal tallied four shots (one on goal). Caitlyn Smith and Julia Witt each took three shots with one on goal.

Rockhurst recorded a total of 17 shots. Kayce Cooper collected six saves and her first career shutout.

The Hawks (5-4-3, 4-3-2 GLVC) go on the road for their next three games, starting with William Jewell on Friday at 5 p.m. in Liberty, Missouri.
