Drury edges Hawks, 67-61, behind late run

Drury pulled away in the final five minutes to edge Rockhurst, 67-61, Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Rockhurst cut Drury's lead to 59-56 on a jump shot by Aubrey Treadwell at the 5:34 mark. The Panthers scored the next six points over the next three minutes to take their biggest lead of the game at 65-56 at the 2:20 mark.

The Hawks went on a 5-0 run on a jumper by Macie Conway and a 3-point basket by Treadwell to pull with four points, 65-61, with 41 seconds left. The Panthers added two free throws with 36 seconds remaining.

Keegan Sullivan led the Hawks with 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Rebeca Garcia posted 12 points, eight rebounds and two steals. Treadwell added 11 points while connecting on three-of-six 3-pointers.
