Free throws lift Truman State over Hawks

Truman State connected on 28-of-34 free throws in posting an 84-59 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.

The Bulldogs went on a 14-0 run in the first period and took a 34-20 halftime lead. Truman outscored the Hawks, 50-39, in the second half.

Rebeca Garcia led the Hawks with 11 points, 11 rebounds and one blocked shot. Keegan Sullivan tallied 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Clare Diener added seven points and four rebounds.
