Women end road trip with loss at Lewis

Lewis scored 10 unanswered points in the fourth period to pull away for a 78-67 victory over Rockhurst Saturday in Romeoville, Illinois.

The Flyers took a 52-46 lead into the fourth period. The Hawks' Clare Diener made a 3-pointer to cut the Lewis lead to 54-49 with 9:04 left to play.

Lewis held to Rockhurst scoreless over the next three minutes while taking a 64-49 lead. The Hawks could never get closer than 10 points over the final six minutes.

Keegan Sullivan led the Hawks with 23 points, six rebounds and three assists. Sullivan scored 17 points in the second half, including 10 in the fourth period.

Diener posted 12 points, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Aubrey Treadwell scored eight points. Rebeca Garcia added seven points and seven rebounds.
