Hawks open conference play vs. No. 5 Tritons

Rockhurst women's volleyball opens conference play at home this weekend against fifth-ranked Missouri-St. Louis on Friday (6:00 pm) and McKendree on Saturday (3:00 p.m.).

The Hawks (6-3) have not played since falling 3-1 at home to fourth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney last Friday. RU's Tera Reberry ranks in the top 10 in the GLVC in kills, points and hitting percentage.

UMSL brings a 9-1 record to Kansas City. The Tritons have been one of the top teams in the country over the past two seasons, posting a 59-9 record while playing in back-to-back NCAA D2 Final Fours.

Rockhurst holds an 18-11 lead in the all-time series. UMSL has won six of the past seven meetings.

McKendree has dropped eight of its first 10 matches heading into its conference opener at William Jewell Friday night. The Bearcats have lost their last six meetings with Rockhurst as the Hawks lead the all-time series, 9-4.
