Rockhurst falls on the road to Saints

Two goals tallied by Maryville in each half drove the Saints to a 4-0 victory over Rockhurst on Friday afternoon in St. Louis, Missouri.

Maryville (3-0-1, 2-0 GLVC) scored their first-half goals in a five-minute span. The first goal was during the 21st minute and in the 26th minute. The Saints added goals in the 69th and 85th minute in the second half.

Rockhurst (2-4, 0-2 GLVC) finished with seven shots. In the first half, the Hawks finished with three shots and had four shots in the second half.

Forward Elizabeth Mertzlufft and midfielders Julia Witt and Quinn Conroy led the Hawks with two shots each. Taylor James recorded eight saves for the Hawks.
