Rockhurst hosts No. 23 Central Missouri tonight

The Rockhurst volleyball team returns home this week after posting a 3-1 record at the Drury Invitational last weekend.

Rockhurst (5-2) hosts 23rd-ranked Central Missouri (3-4) tonight at 6 p.m. The Jennies are coming off one win and three losses at the Colorado Premier Challenge in Denver.

The Hawks posted a 3-2 win at Central Missouri last year to end a 10-match losing streak to the Jennies.

Fourth-ranked Nebraska-Kearney comes to Kansas City on Friday to face the Hawks at 6 p.m. The Lopers have opened the season with a 9-0 record.

The last time Rockhurst met UNK was in the semifinals of the 2019 NCAA Tournament in Denver. The Lopers posted a 3-1 win over the Hawks before falling to Cal State San Bernardino in the national finals.
