Men fall short in GLVC Tournament

The Rockhurst men's tennis team fell to McKendree, 4-1, in the quarterfinals of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Friday at the Cooper Tennis Center in Springfield, Missouri.

Agustin Cortes captured No. 4 singles in two sets, 6-3 and 6-4. Louis Keiner and Semyon Tsyrenov lost in two sets in No. 1 and 2 singles.

Alex Tikhonov fell short in three sets in No. 3 singles. Tikhonov and Gustavo Gill won in No. 3 doubles, 6-0.

The Hawks end their season with a 9-11 record.
