Mullendore leads Hawks at Newman Invite

The Rockhurst women's golf team tied for sixth place at the Newman Invite Tuesday at the Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, Kansas.

The Hawks shot a 339 on the second day to finish with a 36-hole score of 652. Nebraska Kearney won the team title at 613.

Emma Mullendore tied for 12th place with a 36-hole score of 157 to lead the Hawks. Mullendore shot a 76 in the first round on Monday, including shooting a 36 on the back nine.

Jayden Berrey tied for 24th place at 164 and Grace Claney tied for 26th at 165. Sarah Biscan tied for 30th at 166 and Celia Stiltner tied for 39th at 172.
