Women meet No. 23 Drury in GLVC Tournament

The Hawks are the No. 6 seed in the GLVC Tournament
The Rockhurst women will meet 23rd-ranked Drury in the first round of the 2024 Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament on Friday at 2:15 p.m. at the Hyland Arena on the Lindenwood University campus in St. Charles, Missouri.

Rockhurst (15-11, 12-10 GLVC) is seeded sixth in the tournament, while Drury (23-5, 18-4 GLVC) is the third seed. The Panthers beat the Hawks at home, 77-49 on Jan. 6, and at Rockhurst, 85-67, on Feb. 8.

Drury is making its 18th appearance in the GLVC postseason, having qualified every year since 2006 with a league-high 10 GLVC Championship Tournament titles, including the last seven in a row.

Rockhurst is returning to the GLVC Tournament for the second time in the last three years. The Hawks have a 3-4 record in four previous trips to the GLVC Tournament.

Senior forward Keegan Sullivan ranks 18th in scoring (13.7 pg) and 10th in rebounding (7.6 pg), in the GLVC. Sophomore guard Macie Conway ranks 24th in scoring (12.6 pg) and 19th in 3-point field goals made (1.6 pg) in the GLVC.

The four quarterfinal winners will compete in the semifinals on Saturday, March 9, at 12 and 2:15 p.m., while the semifinal winners will compete for the 2024 trophy on Sunday, March 10 at 1 p.m.
 
For the third year in a row, all GLVC Championship Tournament action will be streamed live for $10 per game or $35 for the full tournament on GLVCSN.com, the GLVCSN iOS and Android mobile apps, and GLVCSN OTT apps on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Android TV. More broadcast details will be shared the week of the event.
 
All spectators attending in person will be required to pre-purchase tickets online at GLVCsports.com/tickets. No cash will be accepted on site.
