Women improve season record to 9-3

The Rockhurst women's tennis team posted a 6-1 victory at home over Fort Hays State on Friday and a 4-1 win at McKendree on Saturday.

Ella Coleman moved her season record to 11-1 with two-set wins in No. 1 singles over Fort Hays State and McKendree. Marina Magai and Zuzanna Szmyd won both of their singles matches in No. 3 and 4 singles.

Coleman and Szmyd captured both of their No. 2 doubles matches. Dani Lentisco and Maria Baez went 2-0 in No. 3 doubles.

The Hawks (9-3) play at Northwest Missouri State on Friday.
