Men collect two victories in Florida

The Rockhurst men's tennis team posted a pair of impressive wins over Dallas Baptist and Palm Beach Atlantic to end their spring break trip to Florida with a 2-2 record.
 
The 49th-ranked Hawks collected a 5-2 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Tuesday in West Palm Beach and defeated Dallas Baptist, 5-2, on Monday in Orlando.

Semyon Tsyrenov, Alex Tikhonov, Gustavo Gill and Diego Schtulmann captured their singles matches against Palm Beach Atlantic. Tsyrenov and Agustin Cortes were 6-2 winners in No. 2 doubles. Gill and Tikhonov won in No. 3 doubles, 6-3.

Louis Keiner, ranked No. 68 in D2 in singles, won in No. 1 singles against Dallas Baptist. Tsyrenov, Tikhonov, Cortes and Schtulmann also grabbed wins in singles. Iago Alcover and Andres Sahagun were winners in No. 2 doubles, 6-4.

Rockhurst suffered a pair of 4-3 losses to 31st-ranked Ferris State and 19th-ranked Lubbock Christian last weekend in Orlando.

The Hawks (6-5) host Fort Hays State on March 22.
