Sullivan sinks game-winning 3-pointer at UIndy

Keegan Sullivan sank an amazing game-winning three-point shot from 25 feet to give Rockhurst a 69-67 victory over Indianapolis Saturday at UIndy's Nicoson Hall.

Sullivan's step-back jump shot from well behind the three-point line swished through the net with 0.4 seconds left on the clock. The play was set up after the Greyhounds missed two free throws and Sullivan got the rebound with 7.8 seconds left.

The win improves the Hawks to 14-10 overall and 11-9 in the GLVC with two games left in the regular season.

Macie Conway led the Hawks with 19 points and four 3-pointers. Sullivan finished with 13 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Rebeca Garcia posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. Allison McFarren added eight points, four rebounds and two steals.

Rockhurst shot 34.8 percent from the field (24-of-69) and 30.3 percent from behind the 3-point line (10-of-33).

UIndy (13-13, 10-10 GLVC) made 21-of-66 field goals (31.8 percent) and 19-of-24 from the foul line (79.2 percent). Jada Haines led the Greyhounds with 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Hawks host Missouri S&T on Thursday, Feb. 29.
