Indianapolis rallies for win at home over Hawks

Indianapolis rallied from a 10-point deficit late in the first half to post an 89-74 victory over Rockhurst Saturday at UIndy's Nicoson Hall.

The Greyhounds scored the last 14 points of the first half to take a 41-37 halftime lead. UIndy opened the second half on a 31-13 run to take a 72-50 lead at the 9:48 mark.

Timaris Brown led the Hawks with 19 points and nine rebounds. Jake Auer also scored 19 points and sank five 3-pointers. Miles White collected 11 points, five assists and four rebounds.

UIndy shot 50.0 percent from the field while scoring 28 points in the paint. Jarvis Walker led the Greyhounds (19-7, 15-3 GLVC) with 31 points.

Rockhurst shot 41.7 percent from the field (25-of-60) and made 16-of-36 three-pointers. UIndy made 31-of-62 field goals and connected on 12-of-30 three-pointers.
