Freshman Linus Toward scored a school-record eight goals to lead Rockhurst to a 24-4 victory over Adams State Friday in Alamosa, Colorado.

Toward scored six goals in the first 20 minutes to give the Hawks a 10-0 lead. He scored three points on two goals and one assist in the second half.

Matt Campion posted four goals, one assist and four caused turnovers.
Alec Heflin, Jonah McConnell and Luke Jones each scored four points on two goals and two assists.
Avery Moody tallied two goals and one assist.
Carson Bradshaw won 12-of-15 faceoffs and posted eight ground balls.
Oran Lautenbach captured 12-of-14 faceoffs and collected nine ground balls.
The Hawks finished with 53 shots and 38 shots on goal.
