Quincy rallies late to edge Rockhurst

Quincy rallied in the fourth quarter to post a 62-55 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night in Quincy, Illinois.

Rockhurst led 52-48 with 8:42 left in the fourth quarter. Quincy ended the game on a 14-3 run, holding Rockhurst scoreless over the final three minutes.

Keegan Sullivan led the Hawks with 13 points on six-of-15 shooting. Macie Conway tallied 11 points and five assists.

Allison McFarren posted 11 points, three 3-pointers and three steals. Ali Kamies, Rebeca Garcia and Addison Bent combined for 18 rebounds.

Rockhurst (11-7, 8-6 GLVC) shot 36.7 percent from the field (22-of-60) and 26.9 percent from behind the 3-point line (seven-of-26).

Quincy (8-12, 7-7 GLVC) made 26-of-62 field goals (41.9 percent) and four-of-14 from behind the 3-point line (28.6 percent). Cymirah Williams led Quincy with 16 points and 18 rebounds.

Rockhurst travels to Illinois Springfield on Saturday.
