Hawks host Missouri Valley on Saturday

The Rockhurst women are back in action this weekend after a nine-day break. The Hawks host Missouri Valley at 2 p.m. Saturday and then meet Baker next Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

The Hawks (2-5, 1-2 GLVC) broke into the conference win column with a 73-62 win over William Jewell on Dec. 5. Guard Keegan Sullivan leads the team in scoring (16.3 pg), rebounding (9.0 pg) and assists (2.9 pg).

Missouri Valley (8-3) has dropped its last three games after opening the season with eight wins. The Vikings are averaging 68.4 points per game. Rockhurst collected a 76-56 win over Missouri Valley last season at Mason-Halpin.

Baker (1-8) is averaging 65.3 points per game. The Wildcats face Grand View on Saturday and Mount Mercy on Monday before coming to Rockhurst. The Hawks own a 4-0 lead in the all-time series after posting an 82-60 win last season in Kansas City.
