Lantz selected Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year

Rockhurst's Anna Lantz has been selected the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for NCAA Division II women's soccer.

Lantz is the third student-athlete in Rockhurst history to earn this prestigious honor, joining Zach Bodeau, men's lacrosse (2020) and Maureen Reilly, women's volleyball (2023).

A forward from Parker, Colorado, Lantz earns her second Academic All-America® honor after being named to third team a season ago. The junior carries a 4.0 GPA while pursuing her bachelor's degree in molecular biology. She was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Year, scoring 13 goals and six assists, to go along with five game-winning goals. Lantz was named to the D2CCA All-Region First Team. She ranks among the top 10 in shots on goal per game and shots per game, and in the top 20 in goals, points, game-winning goals, and both goals per game and points per game.

Eleven of the 34 members of the Academic All-America® Division II women's soccer teams sustain an unblemished 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.90, with the entire Division II team maintaining a collective average GPA of 3.92.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
