Men end season with 2-0 tourney loss at Lewis

The Rockhurst men's soccer team ended their season with a 2-0 loss to Lewis in the GLVC Tournament quarterfinals Sunday in Romeoville, Illinois.

Lewis took a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute on a goal by Makonnen Stampley. The Flyers added their second goal in the 42nd minute on Stampley's second goal of the day.

Rockhurst (6-9-2) finished with two shots. Immanuel Wayoro had a shot in the first half, while Luza Zallo tallied a shot in the second half. Lewis (10-2-7) collected eight shots.

The Hawks posted seven corner kicks, including five in the second half. The two teams combined for 23 fouls.
