Hawks tie No. 25 Drury, 1-1

Rockhurst and 25th-ranked Drury played to a 1-1 tie on Friday night at Bourke Field.

The Hawks went up 1-0 in the 10th minute after a shot by Lizzo Rosenthal landed in the upper right corner of the net on a deflection by the Panthers. Drury (11-1-4, 9-1-2 GLVC) scored in the 89th minute to knot the score.

Rockhurst had five shots; four in the first half and one in the second half. Drury collected 18 shots.

Rosenthal led the Hawks with two shots. Anna Lantz, Gabby Hennessy and Elle Kimball each took one shot. Taylor James led the Hawks' defense with seven saves.

Rockhurst (9-5-1, 7-3-1 GLVC) faces Southwest Baptist during Senior Day on Sunday at noon at Bourke Field.
